How do you not give this guy an A+??? Imma BIG hater, but he's gottit nailed. The ONLY thing to make it authentic is that EVH DOESNT USE THE WHAMMY BAR!!!!!!! He used the "speed" dial on his DELAY PEDAL!!! Sounds EXACTLY PERFECT if you do that! Very commonly overlooked!!! Try it! It TOTALLY emulates the whammy dive, but much much much cooler!
